About Me

Welcome to Black Cat Baby's weekly thoughts on Life, Love, and all that jazz. No one said it would easy. I'm just sayin'

It's been a while.

It's me again.  Finally.
I didn't want to write and be negative.
(So I avoided you darlings, sorry)

There are so many things to be grateful for after all.
Like my lovely friend C says, when it comes to friends and family, we've hit the jackpot.
And we have.

It's just this thing.
Is it possible to feel loved by so many, but supported by no one?
Does that even make sense?
I was confirmed at church recently and it was the best day ever.

I didn't only have a sponsor - I had an entourage.
It was really special.

Then the week begins and I'm back to feeling alone.
Not alone, lonely.
God that's tough to admit out loud.

Or maybe I need to drink less and yoga more.
I mean, I'm just sayin'.

                                                                                                                                   Hey, is anybody home?
Has everybody wasted tears on loneliness that everyone becomes?

  1. Even in a city as big as New York, filled with millions of people, it's easy to feel lonely from time to time. With your best girlfriends, roommates, and coworkers to go to, you remember you're never really alone. xoxo

  2. What Sarah said. You don't need that 'one love' to feel love. You can let it in from everyone...because you're alright.. xoxo carolyn
