Taking my power back. (Part one)

I am at that point.
There comes a time in a girl's life, when she must become...well..a woman.
There is this false belief that have us thinking that time is when she becomes a wife or a mother.
Horse-shit I say.

It is not taking responsibilty for OTHER people that makes us truly accountable.
God knows I was a mere child when I looked after my brother and sister back when we were kids.
I didn't feel "grown up" I felt trapped, resentful, and yet also proud to be in charge.

What I am talking about here is the power that comes from your obligation to yourself.
The onus that comes from REALLY looking at yourself in the mirror.
It's fucking hard.
But very neccessary.
